What you are not paying for

Per-seat fees, per-client fees, annual lock-in and hidden minimums are the most-cited pricing complaints in this category. Here is our position on each, in one sentence.

Not in the price

  • No per-seat fee. Workspace includes 2 staff, Team includes 5. Adding a reviewer never changes the bill inside those counts.
  • No per-client fee. Client records are capacity (100 or 500), not a meter. A quiet client costs nothing extra.
  • No annual lock-in. Monthly. Cancel for the next renewal. No 12-month agreement, no upfront year, no non-refundable prepayment.
  • No minimum seats for monthly billing. A solo bookkeeper pays $49 a month. Not '$19 per user, minimum 5 users for monthly.'
  • No automatic overage charges. At a cap, the workspace pauses the capped action and tells the owner. It never bills you for exceeding a limit you did not see.
  • No recipient payments. Your clients never see a Cohesio price or a paywall. They are not seats.

In the price

  • Named capacity. Every limit is a number on this page: staff, active engagements, client records, AI pages, storage, business messages.
  • A worked example. An active engagement is issued and not yet completed or cancelled. One client’s onboarding and their March pack are two. Drafts are free. If Workspace shows 20 active and you issue a 21st, it waits until one completes — existing work continues.
  • Price lock. The price you subscribe at is locked for 24 months. Plan changes are prorated and shown before you confirm.
  • 30-day export window. If you leave, an owner or admin can export original files and decision manifests for 30 days after service ends.
